British architect Sir David Chipperfield and TSATSAS teamed up to continue their ongoing collaborative project: the CASE COLLECTION. The latest addition is BACK-PACK, a sophisticated, minimalist unisex backpack. Conceived with the clarity and restraint that define both the architect’s work and the designer duo’s philosophy, the bag combines architectural precision with artisanal craftsmanship.

Balancing softness and strength, LATCH marks the second collaboration between jewellery designer Saskia Diez and TSATSAS. The series of necklaces and bracelets combines delicate leather with bold jewellery design.
DIETER RAMS ON THE STORY BEHIND THE 931 HANDBAG
Dedicated to the 931 handbag, designed in 1963 by Dieter Rams for his wife Ingeborg, TSATSAS presented a special exhibition at the London store of makers of long-living furniture Vitsœ. The exhibition provided insights into the collaboration with Dieter Rams, and the origin story of the 931 bag.

Fashion designer Kostas Murkudis and designer duo Esther and Dimitrios Tsatsas have joined forces on a long term collaborative project. SESSION 01 is a collection of garments and bags, based on two contrasting materials: Delicate French lace and natural Scandinavian calfskin.
THE MARBLED NUBUCK
COLLECTION
It is reminiscent of the structure of a marble stone that has evolved over thousands of years: An ivory coloured velvety nubuck leather, marbled by a distinctive dark grain structure pays respectful homage to the art of craftsmanship.

The hand-luggage-sized leather suitcase is designed by architect David Chipperfield and Esther and Dimitrios Tsatsas, by not only defining the trios‘s requirements for a piece of luggage but also their desire for a more mindful approach to travel.

In a limited edition, four bags of the TSATSAS collection are presented in a new guise, inspired by the centuries-old technique of painting Chiaroscuro.
Design Dieter Rams
A collaboration between TSATSAS and one of today’s most important product designers: The 931 bag, designed by Dieter Rams. Created in the 1960s for his wife as a one-off, TSATSAS brought the 931 bag to the public in December 2018.
A LIAISON BETWEEN TSATSAS AND
DEUTSCHE & JAPANER
Design studio Deutsche & Japaner teamed up with TSATSAS on a contemporary take on the aesthetics of a floral greeting, reviving this ritual with an opulent handcrafted lamb nappa rose.
In 1963, architect Ferdinand Kramer surprised his wife with a handbag he had specially designed for her. 55 years later, TSATSAS presented a re-edition of the KRAMER bag, updated in three different sizes.
On the occasion of its 5th anniversary in December 2017, TSATSAS released the project “Constant Companions”. 24 international personalities captured their individual view on their own TSATSAS product on camera, resulting in a printed publication and an exhibition.
A film by Gerhardt Kellermann, Ana Relvão and Chinaski
Addressing the subject of movement, Esther and Dimitrios Tsatsas designed their clutch bag TAPE back in 2017. The collaborative film by musician Chinaski, photographer Gerhardt Kellermann and designer Ana Relvão played with TAPE’s idiosyncrasies, perfecting the interaction between sound and movement.
ADDRESSING THE BEAUTY OF PROXIMITY
Based on photographs of the TSATSAS collection taken in Paris in early 2017 by Dimitrios Tsatsas, CLOSER plays with the elision of distance, showing the ephemeral and the transient nature of a moment.
A LIMITED EDITION WITH TEXTILES
BY RAF SIMONS FOR KVADRAT
The project SO_FAR presented five limited versions of the tote bag FLUKE, each in a combination of natural calfskin leather and fabrics from the Raf Simons collection of Danish textile company Kvadrat.
Exploring an object‘s boundaries was the initial of the installation “Where I end and you begin“, first shown during the Berliner Mode Salon 2016 to highlight the transitions within pieces of the TSATSAS collection.
Being part of the first edition of 10 by Yatzer, TSATSAS presented a special limited edition of the OTHER ONE pouch bag in black and white lamb nappa on the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2016.
Esther and Dimitrios Tsatsas opened their new atelier and very first store in November 2015 in Frankfurt/Main. Boasting 100 square meters of floor space the rooms bring together sales area, showroom, model workshop and office facilities of the brand in a single location.
In November 2014, British furniture maker Vitsoe welcomed the founders and designers of TSATSAS in its Munich showroom for a joint exhibition of high-quality leather bags in conjunction with Vitsoes furniture collection following the original designs of Dieter Rams.
Bringing together what belongs together: The collaboration between photographer Ramon Haindl and TSATSAS was initiated in 2014 by Aesthetics Habitat, inviting you to observe the fundamental significance of skin without the disturbance of color.
As part of the “Wallpaper* Handmade“ project 2013, TSATSAS presented the trolley suitcase KAGE, a symbiosis of luxury and function, meeting all today’s travel requirements while combining premium quality and high-grade materials.
